How We Use Cookies
This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Saltmarrow website, and how you can manage your preferences. We keep things straightforward — this site is modest in what it collects.

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to help sites remember your preferences and understand how visitors interact with pages.
On the Saltmarrow website, we use a browser feature called localStorage rather than traditional cookie files for your consent preferences. The behaviour and controls are equivalent to cookie settings.
Cookies do not carry viruses and cannot access files stored on your computer.

- Google Analytics — aggregated website usage data. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We keep third-party embeds to a minimum in keeping with the site's almanac character.
